ChatMap puts group chats on a map. Every group is a pin at a real place: a trailhead, a ski area, a pickleball court, a park. Open the map, tap a pin, and you're talking with the people who actually go there.

Need a fourth at the pickleball courts? Looking for the run club that meets at your park? Hitting the backcountry and want to know what the conditions are like? Find the pin. If it isn't there yet, drop one and start the group yourself.

Why ChatMap?

What you can do:

. Start a group anywhere: long-press the map or tap +, then pick a name for the spot

. Know who's real: verify your identity and get a badge on your profile
. Stay in the loop: notifications and an unread count on the app icon
. Run your group: creators can edit the photo, bio, and pin location

Version History Our biggest update yet. Here's what's new:

DIRECT MESSAGES
Message anyone one-on-one or in a group. Messages now have their own spot on the bottom bar.

START A GROUP FROM THE MAP
Long-press anywhere on the map, or tap +. Then pick a name for the spot from the list.

DROP A PIN IN A CHAT
Show people exactly where to meet. Everyone in the chat gets a card and a notification. Move the pin and it updates.

A SIMPLER APP
Four tabs became three. Your profile is now at the top right of the map, with Settings behind it.

UNREAD BADGE
The number on the app icon is your unread DMs and chats. It clears when you read them.

A NEW LOOK FOR GROUPS
Cleaner group header. If you created a group, you can now edit its photo and bio, and move its pin.

Member Labels

Reactions
-Fixed reaction persistence across navigation and restarts. Reactions now update independently and display accurate counts.
